I have a private practice in Stoke Newington, and see both individuals and couples. My approach is integrative and relational, focussed on healing past wounds, enabling clients to move forward with greater meaning and purpose. As a New Zealander and British Citizen, I’m aware of cross-cultural issues.
I have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling from the Psychosynthesis and Education Trust. I’m a fully accredited, registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have a Diploma Training Certificate in NLP from the U.K. Training Centre for Neuro-Linguistic Programming, the first organisation to bring NLP to this country. I am a Certified Practitioner in the Art of Neuro-linguistic Programming through International Teaching Seminars, directed by Ian McDermott.
I have studied at Spectrum, a London-based organisation in Humanistic Psychology, including their One year Course in Psychotherapy and the Foundation Course in Counselling Skills. I completed their course on the psychology of sexuality. I have wide experience and knowledge of group process. I have completed the programme of training established by the Parent Network, an organisation to support and educate parents to communicate effectively with their children.
